

Bhubaneswar: The pc-based check of Mixed Police Service Examination (CPSE) 2018 in Odisha was postponed attributable to software program issues on Saturday.
The eligible candidates had turned up at completely different centres throughout the state to seem at Paper I of the examination for recruitment to the posts of sub-inspectors. However they did not obtain the query paper on the computer systems at many examination centres.
It led the candidates to boost objections and protest towards CPSE authorities at examination centres in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Choudwar. They demanded the check to be scrapped and rescheduled, sources stated.
They had been pacified after the CPSE authorities admitted drawback within the software program for the check. Sudhansu Sarangi, Chairman, Odisha Police Recruitment Board stated the examination has been postponed.
“The examination of Paper-I in CPSE 2018 has been postponed due to software program points. It will likely be held on a date which can be introduced shortly. No candidate can be denied to seem on the check,” Sarangi stated in a tweet.
